How does the plant identifier work?
You scan a plant live with your phone's rear camera. Aura sends the fresh photo to Gemini Vision, which identifies the species, judges its health, and returns care tips. The plant is added to your personal greenhouse and the worldwide Global Botanical Garden.
Is the plant identifier free?
Yes. Every user gets 1 free scan per day. Each additional scan that day costs 25,000 AuraCoins (the in-app currency you earn free by using Aura). Browsing the Global Garden and your greenhouse is always free.
Why can I only use the live camera, not my gallery?
Live-camera-only scanning keeps every discovery authentic and prevents people from farming rewards with plant images downloaded online. It also means the photo sent to the AI is always fresh and relevant.
