Community Relay — One Shared Weekly Goal the Whole Community Completes Together
The Community Relay is a weekly cooperative event inside the Aura app: instead of competing against each other, the entire community works toward one shared goal for seven days — for example, completing 100,000 habits together. Every habit you complete adds one point to a live global counter everyone can watch move through the day. There is no leaderboard of who is best and no way to lose: milestones at 25, 50, 75 and 100 percent unlock AuraCoins and a limited Pioneer badge for every contributor. Even a single completed habit moves the whole community forward, which makes the Relay the one Aura event where showing up once genuinely matters.
Why use Community Relay
Arena, Tribes and leaderboards already cover competition. The Relay is the opposite motivation: one bar, one goal, everyone pushing the same direction. You never need the longest streak or the most habits to earn the full reward.
The global counter moves through the day as thousands of check-ins land. Watching the bar climb toward the next milestone is a daily pull that solo streaks cannot give you.
Each unlocked milestone (25, 50, 75 percent) pays 100 AuraCoins to every contributor; reaching 100 percent pays 500 AuraCoins plus a limited Relay Pioneer badge. Rewards are participation-based — your personal results are never ranked.
The edition rotates: 100,000 habits, 50,000 workouts, 25,000 journal entries, 100,000 positive check-ins. The counter, the progress bar and the claim buttons work the same every week, so week two needs no learning.

How to join the Community Relay

Open the Relay card
Find the Community Relay card on your dashboard or open the Relay page. You will see the live global counter, the goal, your personal contribution and which milestones are claimable.

Contribute with normal activity
Complete habits, workouts, journal entries or mood check-ins, depending on the weekly edition. Each validated check-in adds one point automatically — no extra step, no opt-in form.

Watch milestones unlock
When the community crosses 25, 50, 75 or 100 percent, the milestone lights up for every contributor. You get a push notification so you never miss a claim window.

Claim your rewards
Tap Claim on each unlocked milestone: 100 AuraCoins each, 500 plus the Pioneer badge at 100 percent. Claims verify server-side that you contributed, so one tap is all it takes.
Frequently asked questions
Is the Community Relay free?
Yes. Contributing uses the normal free activities — habit check-ins, workouts, journaling, mood logging — and claiming milestone rewards costs nothing.
Do I need to be the best to earn rewards?
No, and that is the point. Every reward is participation-based: contribute at least once during the week and you can claim every milestone the community unlocks. There is no ranking of contributors.
What happens if the community does not reach 100 percent?
Every milestone that was reached stays claimable. Partial progress still pays: three unlocked milestones mean 300 AuraCoins for each contributor, even if the final goal falls short.
How is my contribution counted?
Each validated check-in in the weekly category adds one point to the global counter and to your personal tally, shown as My contribution. Only server-validated check-ins count, so the counter cannot be farmed from the client.
Is my activity visible to other users?
No. Other users see only the anonymous global total and the contributor count. Your personal tally is visible to you alone, and mood or journal contents are never shared.
What is the Relay Pioneer badge?
A limited badge minted when you claim the 100 percent milestone of an edition. It lives on your profile as proof you were there when the community finished the goal.
