GT3 Championship — besitze ein echtes GT3-Auto, fahre ein ganzes Rennwochenende, teile es mit einem Teamkollegen
Aura GT3 Championship is a fully separate racing series from Aura Car Racing and Aura F1, and it is deliberately a different sport from both: instead of scanning cars in real life you mint one of 30 real, currently-homologated 2026-season GT3 cars (Ferrari 296 GT3 Evo, Lamborghini Temerario GT3, Porsche 911 GT3 R 992.2, Mercedes-AMG GT3 EVO, BMW M4 GT3 EVO, McLaren 720S GT3 Evo, Aston Martin Vantage GT3, Ford Mustang GT3 Evo, Audi R8 LMS GT3 evo II, Chevrolet Corvette Z06 GT3.R, Acura NSX GT3 Evo22 and Lexus RC F GT3) directly from AURA at a flat AuraCoins price, one at a time, and resell it freely to other players (free cars excepted: those are seats on loan, released back to the market instead of sold). A round is a real race weekend, not a single lap: eight hours of free practice where every run spends a real tyre set out of a finite allocation, then Q1 — your own two timed attempts, with a lap deleted if you put a wheel over the white line — then Q2, where the second driver you hired for the season runs their lap. Your grid slot comes from the AVERAGE of those two laps, the real GT World Challenge Endurance Cup rule, so a quick driver can never carry a slow team-mate. That hire is the biggest decision of your season: a Bronze, Silver or Pro team-mate costs a different fee and, because a crew races in the class of its strongest driver, signing a Pro buys pace and moves you out of the easy Bronze Cup at the same time. There is no upgrade tree and there never will be, because GT3 bans development: the only performance knob is Balance of Performance, published per circuit and per manufacturer before every weekend, which never reacts to the championship standings. Ten rounds run one every three days — six 60-minute sprints and four 3-hour endurance races on circuits that really host GT3 (Spa, the Nürburgring Nordschleife, Bathurst, Daytona, Le Mans, Monza, Silverstone, Zandvoort, Mugello, Imola, Barcelona and more) — with a mandatory pit stop and driver change, one dry tyre spec, safety cars, red flags, changing weather and track-limits penalties. Points are the real ones: 16.5 for a sprint win, 25 for an endurance win, and a point for pole. Four championships run in parallel — drivers, teams (both of a two-car team score), and the Pro, Silver and Bronze Cups — with fixed AuraCoins prizes for the top 10 drivers, the top 5 teams and each class champion.
Warum GT3 Championship nutzen
GT3 verbietet Entwicklung, es gibt also nichts zu kaufen, was schneller macht.
How to race a GT3 Championship weekend
- 1
Mint a GT3 car and hire a team-mate
Open GT3 Championship from the Games menu, mint an unsold catalog car at the flat AuraCoins price or buy one on the resale market, then hire your second driver for the season: Bronze, Silver or Pro. Skip it and a reserve Bronze driver takes the seat for free.
- 2
Use free practice
In the eight hours before qualifying opens, run practice stints on a qualifying or race programme. Every dry run spends a tyre set out of your allocation for the whole round, and enough mileage unlocks your engineer's setup and stint advice.
- 3
Qualify in Q1, your team-mate runs Q2
Pay the one-time season pass on your first round, then take your two timed attempts in Q1. A lap with a wheel over the white line is deleted. Your hired driver runs Q2 automatically at the cutoff, and your grid slot is the average of the two laps.
- 4
Set the strategy, then watch the race
Before the grid locks, choose your aero setup, pit-stop count and wet-weather plan. The round then simulates itself in full: mandatory driver change, safety cars, red flags, changing weather and a live broadcast with the whole 30-car grid.
Haufige Fragen
How does GT3 qualifying work, and why does my team-mate matter?
Two drivers share the car. You run Q1 with two timed attempts and your hired team-mate runs Q2, and the starting grid is set by the AVERAGE of both laps — the real GT World Challenge Endurance Cup rule. A fast driver cannot carry a slow one, which is why hiring a quicker second driver is the single most consequential decision of a GT3 season.
Can I buy upgrades to make my GT3 car faster?
No, and there will never be an upgrade tree. Real GT3 bans development and levels the category with Balance of Performance, so Aura GT3 does the same: a small per-circuit, per-manufacturer BoP figure is published before every weekend. It applies to a homologated car rather than to a team, and it never reacts to the championship standings, so leading costs you nothing.
What is the difference between a sprint and an endurance round?
A season is ten rounds, one every three days: six 60-minute sprint races with a single mandatory pit stop, and four 3-hour endurance races with two or three stops, held at the venues that host the category's real long-distance classics. Endurance rounds pay a bigger purse and score full points (25 for a win against 16.5 in a sprint), so one bad endurance round costs more than one bad sprint.
How do the Pro, Silver and Bronze classes work?
Every driver carries a category earned from their own rating, never bought, and a crew races in the class of its strongest driver — so hiring a Pro team-mate moves you into Pro Cup. Each class has its own standings and its own champion with a fixed AuraCoins prize, which is why a Bronze crew that never troubles the overall top ten still has a real title to race for.
How much does a GT3 car cost, and how many can I own?
Every one of the 30 catalog cars mints from AURA at the same flat AuraCoins price, and each player owns one GT3 car at a time. The first eight players to ever mint get their first car free. A free car is a seat on loan, not an asset: it can never be listed for sale, pressing sell releases it straight back to the market free for the next player, and missing a single settled round loses it the same way. Only a car bought with AuraCoins can be resold, at any price its owner chooses on the open market with a small platform fee, and that one stays with its owner for good.
Do the AI-driven cars take prize money?
No. Every round fields the full 30-car grid, and any catalog car nobody entered is run by a simulated crew with its own two drivers and its own qualifying laps, so a simulated seat can legitimately qualify anywhere on the grid. It can finish on the podium, but its purse and prize share are burned rather than rolled down — a car ahead of you is still ahead of you, it just cannot be paid.
How are the season prizes decided?
They are fixed, minted AuraCoins amounts rather than a share of a pool: the top 10 in the drivers' championship, the top 5 in the teams' championship (split equally between a team's two cars), and the champion of each of the three classes. The season pass itself is paid once and burned in full.
Is GT3 Championship connected to my Car Spotting garage or to Aura F1?
No — it is a fully separate series with its own catalog, economy, calendar and standings. Your Car Spotting garage, Aura Car Racing cars and Aura F1 cars never race against or merge with GT3 Championship cars, and the two championships share no money.
