AURA is a Progressive Web App (PWA) built on Next.js 14 with a Firebase backend. It is installable on any device (iOS, Android, Desktop) directly from the browser — no App Store required. The app supports 11 languages and adapts automatically to the user's browser locale.
The application is hosted on Firebase App Hosting with global CDN distribution. User data is stored in Firestore with per-document security rules that ensure strict data ownership. AI features run via Google Vertex AI / Gemini APIs. Blockchain interactions use BASE mainnet with wagmi + viem on the client.

When the presale concludes (all 30M AURI sold, or sale manually closed by owner): the raised ETH and 20M AURI tokens are deployed as a Uniswap v3 liquidity position on BASE. The token becomes freely tradeable on all BASE DEXes. Liquidity is protocol-owned.
During the presale, holders can sell AURI back to the bonding curve contract at the current curve price minus the 1% fee. The contract pays out ETH from its pool immediately. This creates a floor price and genuine liquidity at all times — unlike typical presales where early buyers are locked until TGE.

Firestore security rules enforce per-user data isolation at the database level — no server-side code can override this. API routes use Firebase Admin SDK with server-side ID token verification. Both contracts are non-upgradeable (no proxy pattern). ETH transfers use the low-level .call{value}() pattern (not deprecated .transfer()) to avoid gas stipend issues. The bonding curve contract holds ETH as its own liquidity pool — no centralized custody. The owner can pause/unpause the sale but cannot drain funds (funds are always withdrawable proportionally by sellers).

AuraCoins Economy
AuraCoins are the in-app soft currency. Users earn them by completing habits (5 coins/check-in), winning challenges, Arena battles, and daily bonuses. Coins are spent in the Aura Shop for cosmetic upgrades, Streak Freezes, and premium boosts. A full transaction history is displayed with collapsible log.
Streak System
Daily habit completion builds streaks. Missed days break streaks unless a Streak Freeze is active (purchased with AuraCoins). Frozen dates are visually indicated on habit cards with a blue glow and snowflake icon. Streak Share Cards allow users to export branded 1080×1080 px images to social media.
Achievements
15 unlockable achievements tracking milestones: first habit, 7-day streak, 30-day streak, mood consistency, journal entries, workout completions, and more. All achievement names and descriptions are fully localized in all 11 languages.
Global Leaderboard
Weekly points-based ranking updated daily. Score = (habits × 5) + (moods × 3) + (journal × 2) + streak bonus. Resets every Monday.
