Galaxy Rush is a free arcade vertical shooter built into the Aura app, in the lineage of Galaga and Space Invaders: your ship holds the bottom of the screen while enemy formations stream in from the top, dive at you, and shoot back. Every run is played on the same board as everyone else that day through a shared daily seed, and the ranked mode gives you exactly one hull — no extra lives, no respawns — so the daily leaderboard measures who flies cleanest rather than who grinds longest. Clearing waves drops arcade powerups such as twin missiles, a piercing laser, double damage, slow motion, shields, screen-clearing bombs and a pickup magnet, while every fifth wave brings a cruiser and every tenth a capital ship with its own health bar. Alongside ranked runs an endless chain of shared sectors: each sector has one layout that the first player to reach it discovers for everyone, and sectors drop bonuses plus one extra life because nothing is paid out there. Wins and daily first places pay AuraCoins, the in-app currency you also earn by completing habits elsewhere in Aura, which is what connects the game to the rest of the app rather than leaving it as a separate arcade. AuraCoins are internal to Aura: they buy ship cosmetics, boosters and Streak Freezes, and they are not a cryptocurrency and cannot be cashed out.

It is built in the Galaga lineage: enemy fighters fly in from the top, settle into a swaying formation, then peel off one at a time to dive at your ship, and a diver shot mid-dive pays double. What Galaga never had is the shared daily seed with one life, a daily modifier that changes the rules, bosses every fifth and tenth wave, and a leaderboard replayed server-side from your raw input.
What do powerups do?
Kills drop twin missiles, a piercing laser, double damage, slow motion, a one-hit shield, a screen-clearing bomb, a pickup magnet, and — in sectors only — one extra life.
Are AuraCoins a cryptocurrency I can cash out?
No. AuraCoins are an internal app currency for ship cosmetics, boosters and Streak Freezes. They are not on any blockchain and cannot be withdrawn or converted into money.
Do bought ships make me stronger?
