AURA Surge is a competitive 1v1 ranked Match-3 game within the Aura app that allows players to win Ranking Points (RP) and wager AURI currency through fast-paced, seed-based board battles. Players race to achieve the highest score on identical 15-move boards where matches of four or more gems grant extra moves, each side gets the same two free one-shot boosters drawn from the match seed, and a live ticker shows the opponent score climbing move by move.

Is AURA Surge free to play?
Yes, AURA Surge is free to play directly within the Aura app with no download required, though optional tournaments and wagering utilize in-app AURI currency.
What boosters can I use in AURA Surge?
Every ranked match and every weekly bracket tournament match hands both players the same two free one-shot boosters, drawn from the match seed: colour blast, rocket, bomb, surge orb, hammer, shuffle or plus two moves. Firing one never costs a move, and firing one onto an orb already on the board fuses the two into a bigger combo: two arrows make a cross, an arrow plus a bomb sweeps three whole lines, two bombs go supernova.
Can I see my opponent score during a match?
Yes. A live ticker shows the opponent score climbing move by move while you play, streamed over the Realtime Database, and a bot opponent shows its own run progressing the same way.
What are the rules of AURA Surge?
Players compete on identical 15-move boards from the same seed, where the goal is to earn the highest score by matching gems, with matches of four or more granting extra moves and two free boosters available to each side.
Can I wager on AURA Surge matches?
Yes, you can wager AURI, the native in-app currency, on competitive ranked matches and participate in various skill-based tournaments.
How many AURA Surge matches can I play per day?
Ranked is capped: 3 matches a day on the free plan and 10 on Premium, counted together across bot and 1v1 games because both award RP. Free practice is unlimited for everyone, signed in or not — it stakes no RP and pays no AuraCoins, so it is what you play once the ranked allowance is gone. The weekly tournament is a paid entry outside the cap.
Can I try AURA Surge without an account?
Yes. Guests get the free practice board: the same Match-3 engine and the same 15 moves, unlimited, played locally with nothing submitted. Ranking Points, the booster shop, the weekly tournament and 1v1 matchmaking all need a free account.
