AURA Baseball Coach — Season Plans, Arm Care and Pitch Smart Limits from Tee-Ball to Senior

AURA Coach for Baseball is a season planner and practice generator for baseball coaches, from tee-ball and coach-pitch to kid-pitch youth groups and the full 90-foot diamond. You enter the team once — federation (FIBS, WBSC, USA Baseball, Little League and national federations), age group, roster with nicknames, numbers and positions, training days, game days and season dates — and AURA Coach lays out the whole season with phases, mesocycles and deload weeks, and for every practice a load, a focus (hitting, infield and outfield defence, pitching, double play, base running, situational hitting, defensive situations) and a ceiling of throws and sprints per player. AURA AI writes each practice by choosing only from the drill library, each drill drawn on the diamond with base paths and mound, and a deterministic validator refuses sessions that break the duration, the age band or the throw ceiling. Arm care comes first: AURA AI is told to open every practice that throws with a progressive throwing warm-up, tee-ball and under 8 teams get no bullpen work, and each age group carries the Pitch Smart (MLB / USA Baseball) daily pitch maximum, shown to the coach and handed to AURA AI so bullpen work in practice stays well below it. The plan stays the coach's and can be replaced or imported from a PDF or a photo. In games the pitch counter shows each pitcher against the Pitch Smart limit of the age group.

Why use AURA Coach for Baseball

Arm care built into every practice

A throw ceiling per player for each age band enforced by the validator, a throwing progression before hard throws, arm-care band work, and no bullpen drills for tee-ball and under 8 teams.

Pitch Smart limits per age group

The daily pitch maximum from the Pitch Smart guidelines (50 for ages 7-8 up to 105 for 17-18) is shown in the wizard and passed to AURA AI, which is told never to schedule a bullpen the day after a game appearance.

Drills drawn on the diamond

Every drill is drawn on a field with home plate, the bases, the mound, the infield and the foul lines, with setup, execution and coaching points for the dugout.

Register, staff and development

Attendance with CSV export, assistants invited to the team, ratings of hitting, fielding, pitching and base running, and field tests such as home-to-first time, throwing velocity and exit velocity.

How to plan a baseball season with AURA Coach

  1. 1

    Create the team

Pick baseball, the federation and the age group (tee-ball to senior), add the roster with positions, and the equipment: tees, hitting net, L-screen, bases, catcher's gear.

  2. 2

Set the week and the season

Add practice days and field space, game days and season dates: phases, mesocycles and the throw ceiling of every practice follow.

  3. 3

    Generate the practice

Open a practice, untick who is missing and generate: AURA AI picks drills for the focus of the day within the time, the throw ceiling and the pitch limits.

  4. 4

    Close the practice

Mark attendance and write a short review; the next practice reads it as an observation that can steer drill choice but never the throwing load.

Frequently asked questions

What are the Pitch Smart pitch limits by age?

The Pitch Smart guidelines by MLB and USA Baseball set a daily maximum of 50 pitches for ages 7-8, 75 for 9-10, 85 for 11-12, 95 for 13-16, 105 for 17-18 and 120 for 19-22, with required rest days depending on the count. AURA Coach shows the limit for the team's age group and keeps bullpen work in practice well below it.

Which age groups does AURA Coach support?

Tee-ball, under 8, under 10, under 12, under 14, under 16, under 18, senior and adult amateur. Each group sets the base and pitching distances, the number of innings, the session length and the throw and sprint ceilings; leagues may use different distances and the coach can adapt the plan.

Can I edit the practices and the season plan?

Yes. Any generated practice can be edited drill by drill, and the phases, mesocycle length, weekly load and focus can be replaced or imported from a PDF or a photo. AURA AI writes each practice inside the coach's plan.

Does AURA Coach for Baseball include game charting?

Yes. Plate appearances are one tap each (single, double, triple, home run, walk, strikeout, out) and every run that crosses the plate is a tap, inning by inning with extra innings when tied. Pick your pitcher and tap each pitch: the count is shown against the Pitch Smart daily limit of the age group and turns red when it is reached. You get the line score, on-base and strikeout rates, a player table and a printable PDF. The first game is free, then 1 USD in AuraCoins per game or included in the Coach Pass. Each pitcher's Pitch Smart rest days are worked out from the games scouted here, and match day prints the line-up card in two copies.

How much does AURA Baseball Coach cost?

The first generated practice of a new team is free. After that a practice costs AuraCoins at about USD 1, or a one-time EUR 19.99 Coach Pass covers unlimited practices for up to three baseball teams for 365 days with no automatic renewal. Clubs can buy one licence for 5, 12 or 25 coaches.
