AURA Sense is a proactive ambient layer inside Aura that estimates your energy, stress and focus from signals you already generate — mood and energy logs, habit completion, journal tone, Aura vitality, time of day and how you move around the app — then acts on that reading instead of waiting to be asked. When the reading is clear it softens the interface for two hours and tells you exactly why, with a one-tap undo. The whole calculation runs on your device: no sensor, no camera, no upload, and a hard limit of three messages a day.

What is proactive ambient AI in a wellness app?
Proactive ambient AI means the assistant continuously reads context in the background and acts first, instead of only answering questions. In Aura, AURA Sense estimates energy, stress and focus from data you already log and adapts the interface on its own when the reading is clear enough to act on.
Does AURA Sense read my heart rate, sleep or camera?
No. Aura is a web app, so it cannot access heart rate, HRV, sleep stages or any health sensor, and Sense never opens the camera or the microphone. It works only with what you log in Aura: mood, energy, habits, journal sentiment, vitality, time of day and in-app navigation.
Is my emotional state sent to a server?
No. The reading is computed on your device and stored only on your device. It never reaches Aura servers, is never sold or shared, and is erased when you turn Sense off or log out.
Can AURA Sense do things without asking me?
Only one thing: it can soften the interface for two hours when your reading is clearly stressed, drained or scattered. It tells you immediately, shows why, and offers a one-tap undo. Anything that costs coins, writes data or leaves the device always stays a suggestion you tap.
How often will AURA Sense interrupt me?
At most three times a day, with at least three hours between messages, and never twice for the same reason within twelve hours. If your reading looks balanced or the confidence is too low, Sense says nothing at all.
Is AURA Sense a medical or mental health diagnosis?
No. It is a self-awareness tool for reflection, not a medical device, and it cannot diagnose or treat any condition. Every reading carries a confidence level and can be wrong, so treat it as a mirror rather than a verdict and speak to a professional for health concerns.
